Decree on requirements for starch, legumes, oilseeds and products thereof.

This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture, which is composed of 11 articles and ten Annexes, lays down the classification, quality requirements, and labeling rules for starch, legumes, oilseeds, and their products. It specifies different types and subgroups within these categories, provides minimum technological standards to ensure product safety and quality, and details labeling obligations, including information about the botanical origin and whether oilseeds are hulled or unhulled. The present Decree also addresses permissible deviations in packaging weight and the conditions under which products that were compliant prior to the Decree's enforcement can still be sold until stocks are exhausted. The aim of this Decree is to standardize the quality and labeling of these agricultural and food products in line with EU directives.
