Abstract
This Government Regulation lays down, in accordance with European Union legislation, conditions for subsidies of animal welfare measures. Animal welfare measures consist of the following sub-measures: (a) increase of the lairage space of cows kept for the production of milk; (b) improvement of living condtions of cows kept for the production of milk; (c) ensuring access to the paddock for cows; (d) improvement of living conditions in pig breeding; (e) increase of the area in pig holdings for piglets. An application for support shall be submitted to the State Agricultural and Intervention Fund by 15 May of the relevant calendar year for which the support is to be provided on a form issued by the Fund for the given calendar year.
