Act amending the Atomic Energy Act and other provisions.

Article 1 of the present Act introduces some amendments to the Atomic Energy Act of 15 July 1985 (BGBl. I p. 1565). In particular, the Act amends, inter alia, article 2 on Definitions; article 4 on Carriage of nuclear fuel; article 4a on Financial security for international carriage; article 12a on Enabling provision (decision of the Steering Committee); article 25 on Liability for nuclear installations; article 25a on Liability for nuclear ships; article 27 on Contributory fault of the injured person; article 32 on Limitation of actions; article 34 on Indemnification; articles 38 on Compensation from the Federation. Furthermore, the Act repeals articles 56 on Licences granted under LLANDER and article 57a on Transitional provision on the occasion of the unification of Germany.
Furthermore, article 2 of the present Act introduces some amendments to the Radiation Protection Ordinance of 20 July 2001 (BGBl. I p. 1714, 2002 I p. 1459). In particular, the Ordinance amends article 18 dealing with transportation of nuclear material.
Moreover, article 3 of the present Ordinance introduces some amendments to the Atomic Energy Cost Ordinance of 17 December 1981 (BGBl. I p. 1457). In particular, the Ordinance amends article 6 and repeals article 7.
