Abstract
The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the implementation of the Animal Breeding Act of 22. März 1994 (BGBl. I S. 601). The text deals with the following issues: determination of characteristic features, breeding use of male animals, extraction of semen outside an insemination station, tasks of the veterinaries in an insemination station, monitoring of the hygienic requirements and animal health, supply of semen, marking of animals to be inseminated, registration concerning extraction, preparation, conservation and supply of semen, recording of use of semen, veterinary tasks in connection with embryo transfer, registration on extraction, treatment, supply and use of embryos, penalties and entry into force. The Ordinance consists of 11 articles.
