Abstract
An Ordinance to ensure the protection of cattle from leucosis. The Ordinance contains at the outset a definition clause relating to various terms therein employed. Part 2 deals with protective measures. The owner is obliged to have animals periodically examined. Article 8 of Part 2 deals with special protective measures to be taken once the disease has been officially declared or if there is a suspected case. Part 3 contains provisions for repealing the protective measures. The Ordinance consists of 14 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: Definition of terms (I); Protective measures (II); Repeal of protective measures (III); Certified brucellosis free cattle (IV); Penalties (V).
