Abstract
This Regulation lays down measures to avoid the spreading of diseases during the transportation of cattle. The text consists of 49 articles divided into 15 parts as follows: Vehicles used in animal transportation (1); Animal fairs; animal markets, slaughterhouses (2); Condition of stalls in general (3); Castration of animals (4); Pasturing of sheep herds (6); Cleaning and disinfection (7); Health certificates and registers (8); Keeping of animals (9); Marking and registration of cattle (10); Marking of pigs, sheep and goats (11); Marking and registration of porks (12); Marking of equids (13); Other keeping of cattle (14); Final provisions (15). The Regulation is completed by an Annex.
