Abstract
The present Ordinance implements the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trade Act of 21 July 2011 (BGBl. I p. 1475). The purpose of the Ordinance is to transpose into national legislation the Directive 2009/28/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources of 23 April 2009. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the auction of greenhouse gas emission allowances. The text consists of 15 Articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Reporting emissions (2); Exchange of emission credits (3); Certification of testing authorities (4); Fees and expenses for official acts of the registration office (5); Transitional and final provisions (6). Article 13 and the attachment to Article 13 are deleted.
