Abstract
An Ordinance providing regulations for the importation of foodstuff. Article 2 establishes that whoever intends to import foodstuff listed in article 1, such as meat, poultry, etc. has to notify the competent customs office one day before the goods are due to arrive. The text consists of 7 articles as follows: Sphere of applications (art. 1); Registration for importation (art. 2); Importation of certain foodstuff of animal origin (art. 3); Documents and sampling (art. 4); Storage of foodstuff (art. 4a); Importation with following re-exportation (art. 4b); Customs Codex (art. 4c); Decisions (art. 6); Prohibition of importation or of placing on the market (art. 6a); Penalties (6b); Violations (art. 7). Three Annexes are enclosed.
