Abstract
The regulation governs fishing practices in Hessen province. The regulation is structured into seven parts and contains 38 Articles, while each part address different aspects of fishing management and conservation. The first part focuses on good fishing practices and fish protection, outlining prohibitions on catching certain fish species, establishing closed seasons, and setting minimum sizes for fish that can be retained. The second part pertains to the fishing examination process, detailing the roles of examination committees, examination dates, preparatory courses, and the criteria for admission to the exams, including fees and the issuance of certificates. The third part addresses the fishing levy, while the fourth part discusses data processing related to fishing activities, including the maintenance of a fishing register. The fifth part outlines the formation and responsibilities of fishery management communities, including their governance structures and financial contributions. The sixth part introduces penalties for violations of the regulations, categorizing offences and specifying fines. Finally, the seventh part includes transitional and final provisions.
