Abstract
The present Law implements the Non-Edible Animal Products Disposal Act of 25 January 2004 (BGBl. I p. 82) and Regulation (EC) No. 1774/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down health rules concerning animal by-products not intended for human consumption of 3 October 2002. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the efficient and correct implementation of the afore-mentioned legislation in the Free State of Saxony. The text consists of 5 articles as follows: Competent authorities and their tasks, persons liable to effect disposal (1); Catchment areas (2); Charges, fees, cost recovery (3); Statutes and general contract conditions (4); Entry into force, repeal (5).
