Abstract
Article 2 contains supplementary regulations as to the production of butter, and article 3 as to the marking and labelling of butter. The Ordinance deals also with issues such as various qualities of butter and the production of high quality butter, namely "German Quality Butter" as well as its control, butter from non-member countries, etc. Annex 1 lays down specific regulations for the survey of the production of quality butter.
Moreover, the Ordinance amends the following Ordinances: Ordinance on milk products of 15 July 1970 (BGBl. I p. 1150); Ordinance on cheese of 14 April 1986 (BGBl. I p. 412); Ordinance on margarine and mixed fats of 31 August 1990 (BGBl. I p. 1989, 2259); Ordinance on milk of 24 April 1995 (BGBl. I p. 544); Ordinance on milk quality of 9 July 1980 (BGBl. I p. 878). The Ordinance is contained of 7 articles.
