Abstract
The Ordinance provides regulations on marketing of the remunerated renewable energy resources, balanced electricity through transmission system operators and determining the Renewable Energy Act surcharges. The Ordinance further provides for the responsibility of the Federal Environment Agency with regard to establishment and operation of the certificate of origin register and to ensure data protection and data security measures. The Ordinance describes the terms of payment and entitlement to the electricity plants, notification obligations, tenders participation and fund evaluation. The Ordinance further provides regulations for production of green hydrogen. The Ordinance consists of 5 Sections and 16 Articles as: Scope of application (1); EEG compensation mechanism (2); Guarantees of origin and regional certificates for electricity renewable energies, follow-up funding of small manure systems, production of green hydrogen (3); Transfer of statutory authorisations (4); Transitional provisions (5).
