Abstract
The purpose of the present Act is to promote an increase in the contribution of renewable energy sources to electricity production in the internal market for electricity. Renewable energy sources are defined as renewable non-fossil energy sources, i.e. wind, solar, geothermal, wave, tidal, hydropower, biomass, landfill gas, sewage treatment plant gas and biogas. The present text consists of 66 articles divided into 7 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Connection, capture, transfer (II); Compensation (III); Settlement proceedings (IV): Transparence (V); Legal protection and official proceedings (VI); Empowerment, reports and transitional provisions (VII). Five Annexes are enclosed.
