Abstract
The present Law lays down provisions relating to the security in the harbours of Schleswig-Holstein. In particular, the Law aims at the protection of harbours against terrorist attacks and is applicable to all public harbours in Schleswig-Holstein as well as to private harbours handling goods or passenger traffic. The text deals with the following issues: competent authorities, police controls, running of harbours, assessment of risks, plan or protection against terrorist attacks, control for incoming ships, data collection, penalties, fees, limitation of fundamental rights and entry into force. The text consists of 15 articles.
