Abstract
Article 1of the above-mentioned Law establishes the National Park Hainich. The aim of the Park is to conserve a characteristic European landscape with its native animal and plant environment and their natural ecosystems, to guarantee the undisturbed development of the various symbioses, as well as to make it possible for weakened plants and animals to prosper again. The text – consisting of 23 articles deals with the following matters: delimitation of the park, purpose of protection, protected zones, information of the public, care and development of the park, land use planning, bans, right to enter, authorized actions, collection of berries and mushrooms, pasture, management of the forest, hunting, compensation payments, administration of national park, purchase of land, appeal, limitation of fundamental rights and penalties. The text consists of 23 articles.
