Abstract
The Act partly amends Acts No. 1329, No. 1331 and No. 1097 - whereby it repeals articles regarding energy supply and related duty payment. In Act No. 1329 - the implementing EU directives are amended in the footnote, and the supply of electricity to end-consumers requires an agreement between the electricity consumer and a power trading company. An electricity consumer is free to choose electricity supplier. When changing there is no requirement of payment by the end-consumer. In Act No. 1331 the amendment consists in the addition of No. 3 to article 37, section 3 whereby the note reads: application and accounting process of amounts received as financial compensation, and - in what concerns prices and terms for natural gas supplying companies' prices and conditions. In Act No. 1097 the amendment consists in Energinet.dk acquiring now the responsibility of performing tasks related to prospect and switch installations. Article 1, No. 31 shall enter into force on 1 October 2014. In the period 1-15 September 2015 Energinet.dk may obtain feedback from electricity trading companies that match statements in accordance with article 72e, section 1, point 1 of Electricity Supply Act and will be valid between 1 October to 31 December 2015.
