Abstract
This Act amends the water Supply Act in relation with the carrying into effect of the Council Directive 98/83/EC on the quality of water intended for human consumption. The Ministry of Environment and Energy shall be responsible for the issuing of rules regarding information on the quality of publicly supplied water. Other provisions concern the control of quality of water supply by municipal authorities and measures to be taken if the quality of water supply does not meet standards laid down by legislation.
