Abstract
This Act establishes rules on electronic spatial data infrastructure operated and made available to the public. It includes metadata, spatial data sets, network services and network technologies, agreements on access and use as well as provision of spatial data sets, coordination and monitoring mechanisms, processes and procedures.
This Act contains provisions implementing parts of the European Parliament and Council Directive 2007/2/EC of 14 March 2007 establishing an Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community (INSPIRE).
