Abstract
This Executive Order, of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries of Denmark, sets out rules on the import of feed into Greenland. It applies to feed businesses, but not to private imports, and defines key terms such as feed, feed business, marketing, and food-producing animals. Companies must register their import activities with the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration and ensure that feed intended for export or for feeding food-producing animals is only imported from registered or approved EU establishments. Certain types of feed from third countries may only be imported if they have been subject to official controls at an approved EU border inspection post. Violations may result in fines, including for companies as legal persons.
