Abstract
The Order establish the conditions for certain types of accounts (by payment of specific fees listed under article 17) managed by the Danish Business Authority in EU CO2 Emission Trading Registry and the Danish Kyoto Register. Any commercial entity holding an account created after notification from the Danish Energy Agency shall adhere to Act on CO2 quotas directives. CO2 quotas issued from 1 January 2013 apply to emissions during periods of 8 years, beginning on 1 January 2013.
The Order consists of 8 Chapters and 1 Appendix: Scope and definitions (1); Common provisions (2); Operator and aircraft operator holding accounts (3); Verifier accounts (4); Trading accounts, person holding accounts, auction delivery account and external trading accounts (5); Authorised representatives and additional authorized representatives (6); Liability limit, appeals and penalties (7); Entry into force (8).
