Abstract
This Order lays down rules on landfills. Statutory rules supplement the rules of the Order on approval of listed activities and the Waste Act. The Order applies to the application for authorization of waste in specifically defined land, in order to avoid soil pollution caused by hazardous and mineral substances. The approved waste to be disposed shall list detailed information on the provenience and possible hazardous risks. Chemical testing and monitoring of waste shall be undertaken for this purpose by the Environmental Protection Agency. Existing requirements for testing of mineral waste are repealed while existing requirements for testing of mineral wastes are maintained. Metallic mercury found in containers for temporary storage shall be subject to inspection which results produce a certificate indicating content and ensuring the contents meet the requirements (article 7, section 3).

Cases pending for approval of landfills and requiring permit modifications and extensions in adherence to the Act's Chapter 5, and which are pending before this Order's entry into force provisions, shall be completed in accordance to the provisions of this Order.
