Abstract
This Order applies to the payment of compensations in connection with the destruction and disposal of animals produced for animal feed, eggs, milk and similar products - in order to prevent diseases (zoonotic salmonella) which may affect the health of end-user consumers. The purpose of the Order is to ensure that payment for these activities is distributed according to EU provisions, and decisions on the implementation of these shall be regulated by a "taxation selection" group composed by one member appointed by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration, who must be familiar with animal farming within the interested species (1); by one appointed member by owners or users thereof (2); and by one employee of the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration.
