Order No. 1323 on compensation and expenses for the inspection and prevention of livestock diseases.

This Order applies to the payment of compensations in connection with the destruction and disposal of animals produced for animal feed, eggs, milk and similar products. This with the goal to prevent diseases (zoonotic salmonella) which may affect the health of end-user consumers, and to ensure that payment for these activities is distributed according to EU provisions, and that decisions on the implementation of these shall be regulated by a "taxation selection" group composed by one member appointed by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration, by one appointed member by owners or users, and by one employee of the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration.
