Abstract
The Order s purpose is to protect against the onset and spread of certain plant pests. The Order shall apply inspection, testing and monitoring procedures in order to ensure the health of such plants and the prevention of human and environmental health thereafter. Among them are included seeds, flowers, fruits, vegetables and trees. It is forbidden to sell plants listed in Appendix 1 which are affected by harmful organisms listed in Appendix 1. Particular attention is given to suspect presence of Epitrix cucumeris (Harris), Epitrix similaris (Gentner) Epitrix subcrinita (Lec.), Epitrix tuberis (Gentner) Xylella fastidiosa or (Well one Raju) and immediate notification to the Danish AgriFish Agency is required. The Order implements certain EU directives as attached to this Document.
Appendix 1 Organisms not to be distributed or otherwise transferred to others (article 2, section 1).
Appendix 2 Organisms not to occur in certain plants (art. 2, sect. 2).
