Abstract
Specific firearms (shotguns with a barrel length of 55 cm, of caliber 12, and not containing more than 2 cartridges; and rifled weapons and semi-automatic rifles not containing more than 2 cartridges), if in good condition, may be used for hunting activities in accordance to Wildlife regulations. Hunting roe deer by shotgun may not take place between 16th May and 15 July. Ammunition for rifled weapons must be used for hunting and control of animal species with requirements as listed in Appendix 1. Hunting of mammals and birds (including deer, fox, hare and goose) with bow and arrow is permitted, provided licensed training thereof has taken place.
The Order consists of 4 Chapters and 1 Appendix: Firearms (1); Ammunition (2); Hunting with bow and arrow (3); Exemptions, penalties and entry into force (4).
Appendix 1 - Examples of firearms to be utilized for hunting and regulation of individual game species.
