Abstract
The Order provides regulations regarding the monitoring of TSE-affected sheeps and goats - as well as for scrapie and BSE - for the purpose of containing risks of disease-spread. Veterinary supervision and recording of cases shall be notified to the national Food and Administration authorities. The Order aheres to EU regulations. Inspection of intact brain stems samples of the animal(s) shall undergo tests in approved laboratories and results thereof shall be registered in the national database. Tests of animals affected by BSE or/and scrapie shall also take place in order to identify origin of disease. Hygiene procedures shall be applied to all contaminated sites and equipment.
