Order No. 1352 on the authorisation and registration of food businesses.

This Executive Order regulates the authorisation and registration of food businesses and businesses handling food-contact materials in Denmark. It establishes requirements for primary producers, establishments handling foods of animal origin, retailers, importers and businesses carrying out specified activities, while providing limited exemptions and special conditions for small-scale local supply of products such as game, poultry, rabbits, eggs, fish, shellfish and raw milk. It also governs registration procedures, digital applications, changes in ownership or activities, withdrawal of authorisation, laboratory quality requirements, and storage and transport temperatures for animal products. Violations may result in fines or, in serious cases, imprisonment.
