Abstract
The Order sets regulations for 2013 and 2014 with regard to commercial fishing activities in Denmark. Regardless of where fishing occurs, vessel owners must comply with current provisions for fishing activities in adherence to EU regulations on conservation of fishery resources. Vessels are subject to authorization for operating based on size, fishing methods and gear. The allowable catch quota assigned for various fishing areas include all fish species (salmon quota is based on number thereof and not weight). Trans-shipment of catch may only take place after prior permission from the Danish Agri-Fish Agency and application should include all information pertaining the fishing vessel. Shares and amounts of the quota allocated to the Fish Fund in 2013 are specified in article 54, and shall apply from 1 January 2013 in accordance to yearly volumes from vessels which have increased quota concessions last year (art. 55).
