Abstract
This Order sets regulations with regard to the assessment of the environmental impact assessment on international nature protection areas and on the protection of certain animal species related to projects in Danish territorial waters, in the Danish exclusive economic zone and on the Danish continental shelf. The Order applies specifically to projects on exploration, extraction and transportation of hydrocarbons and geothermal energy; to other projects including on the use of subsoil for storage or purposes other than recovery; to projects on the continental shelf for exploration of the seabed and its underground minerals; to projects on the continental shelf when establishment pipelines for transportation of hydrocarbons.
Appendix 1 - Selection criteria for projects covered by art. 4, sect. 2-3.
Appendix 2 - Information and assessments to be made in the VVM report (Danish Energy Agency).
Appendix 3 - Information and feedback to be given to the impact assessment regarding international protection areas.
Appendix 4 - Indicative list of species covered by the Habitats Directive Annex IV and native in Danish territorial waters, in the Danish exclusive economic zone or on the Danish Continental Shelf.
