Abstract
This Order sets regulations and guidelines with regard to approval of advisers and consultants in the food sectors. It aims to ensure that those consultants have the necessary skills to assist food businesses, and are able to give advice to comply with the injunction granted pursuant to provisions given by Order on injunction advice and training in the food sector. Advice from licensed consultants should apply to food with the necessary knowledge to solve issues and implement procedures and routines suitable to prevent infringements of Food Act provisions. Applicants for filling the consultancy role are responsible for and must document to have and use personnel professionally trained in food as a process technologist, food technologist or equivalent or higher level.
