Abstract
The Order applies to all public and private waste water treatment plants and related permits. It lays down rules regarding the implementation of sewage plants for private and public use.
It consists of 18 Chapters: Notice of application (1); Definitions (2); Wastewater Plan Content (3); Consideration of proposals for and adoption of waste water (4); Connecting the sewage to the sewage treatment plant (5); Repealing of rights and obligations (withdrawal from the public sewer)(6); Discharge of wastewater to streams, lakes or sea (7); Details on discharges from public sewage treatment plants (8); Reducing emissions of nitrogen and phosphorus in major industrial enterprises discharge of wastewater to streams, lakes or sea (9); Prohibition of addition of certain drugs directly into the groundwater (10); Sewage Disposal from scattered settlements (11); Soil infiltration (12); Discharging and spraying of waste water with no regard to agricultural value of land (13); Setting up of holding tanks for sewage and willow plants - assembly, discharge and disposal (14); Un-loading arrangements for settling and holding tanks (15); Other provisions (16); Penalties (17); Entry into force and transitional rules (18).
