Order No. 2538 on intermediate cannabis products.

The present Order, adopted by the Ministry of Health, lays down rules on the manufacturing of intermediate cannabis products based on imported or domestically produced cannabis raw materials, as well as the inclusion of intermediate cannabis products on the Danish Medicines Agency's list, as regulated under Act No. 1668 on a pilot scheme for medicinal cannabis. The Order outlines specific requirements and procedures for the production, labelling, packaging, and distribution of these cannabis intermediate products within the framework of the medicinal cannabis program.
The Order contains 45 articles organized in the following chapters: 1. Scope of application; 2. Definitions; 3. Authorization for the production of cannabis intermediate products; 4. Quality assurance; 5. Inclusion on the Danish Medicines Agency's list of domestically cultivated and manufactured cannabis raw materials, and the corresponding cannabis intermediate products; 6. Receipt of cannabis raw materials; 7. Manufacturing of cannabis intermediate products; 8. Penalty and entry into force.
