Abstract
The Order sets regulations with regard to the criteria for assessing municipal projects undertaken to improve aquatic and terrestrial environments by reducing phosphorus loads (phosphorus wetlands), and for which subsidy is requested in accordance to the Danish AgriFish Agency's Order on funding for municipal projects concerning phosphorus wetlands. The project areas shall be located upstream of specific lakes in order to reduce the phosphorus load in water, and criteria for financial grants shall include the reduction of phosphorus of less than 20 kg/ha yearly (1), that the project is cost-effective (2), that the project will be implemented through the establishment of natural hydrological processes (3), that there must be a high risk of phosphorus release from the soil in the project area (4), that the project's effect on washing out ocher is included in the assessment of the application (5), that the project shall not have a negative impact on the wild plant and animal life (6), and that the project's impact on Natura2000-areas and animal and plant species are evaluated in the application. The project must not cause damages to a Natura2000-area, destruction of breeding sites or resting places of protected species.
