Abstract
The purpose of this Order is to reduce environmental and climate impact of agricultural production through the granting of investment subsidies for new eco processes and technologies. The Danish AgriFish Agency shall govern these regulations and within the allocated funding framework, shall provide grants for projects for the reduction of greenhouse gases emission (including these originating from livestock fertilizers), the reduction of use of pesticides, reduction in loss of nutrients from fertilizers application, to reduce energy consumption in water, nutrient and pesticide use in horticulture. Subsidies may be provided to farmers who operate a primary agricultural holding with the primary agricultural holding time rate of at least 830 hours calculated according to the standard hourly rates set out in Appendix 1. Criteria for obtaining such grants allows projects to be financed with min. 100 000 DKK for projects which will be completed no later than 1 August 2015.
