Order No. 627 on grants to producer organisations, etc. under the market scheme for fruit and vegetables.

This Order regulates grants to recognised producer organisations under the EU fruit and vegetables market scheme. It allows support for producer organisations’ production and marketing activities, provided the organisation is recognised by the Agency for Green Land Conversion and Aquatic Environment, establishes a separate operational fund, and has an approved three- to seven-year operational programme. It sets recognition criteria, including minimum numbers of producers and reference turnover, rules on membership, statutes, voting rights, mergers of producer organisations, separate accounting and bank accounts for operational funds, and requirements for operational programmes, including minimum environmental and climate-related allocations, eligible environmental action types, water-saving investments, promotion and advisory services. The Order also regulates approval and annual specification of operational programmes, documentation of reasonable prices, changes to programmes, investments on individual producers’ holdings, outsourcing, calculation of reference turnover, grant ceilings and payments, partial payments, suspension or withdrawal of recognition, repayment, sanctions, force majeure and exclusion from future support.
