Abstract
The Order applies to specific financial support to farmers, who produce perennial energy crops on land eligible to the single payment scheme. The purpose of this special support is to promote production of biomass by awarding grants for the establishment of perennial energy crops, as well as the reduction of soil nutrient treatment. If the request for funding cannot be accomodated, priority shall be given by the Danish AgriFish Agency in the following order: to private fields in areas destined to organic status of coastal waters (1) and other private fields (2). Within each of these prioritizations, classification shall follow the following order: land to be used for the cultivation of willow, field for the cultivation of poplar, field for the cultivation of alder, and fields to be used for the cultivatio of ash, hazel or a mix of authorized species thereof. Areas eligible for grants under the Single Payment Scheme: areas applying for subsidies for environmentally-friendly management of wetlands pursuant to Order No. 893 of 22 September 2005 and Order No. 140 of 10 March 2005. Areas applying for grants for the establishment of landscape and biotope planting pursuant to Order no. 1101 of 12 December 2002 and Order no. 248 of 11 April 1994. Areas applying for grants for buffer zones aimed to the conservation of pasture and natural areas, to maintain wetlands, to maintain natural water conditions for the conservation of wetlands or for maintaining changed drainage pursuant the rural Act. Areas applying for grants for the establishment of lanscape and biotope-improvement vegetation. Areas applying for subsidy for afforestation following Council Regulation (EC) No. 1257/1999 of 17 May 1999 on support for rural development from the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund (EAGGF) and amending and repealing certain regulations. Areas covered by afforestation subsidy as per Council Regulation (EC) No. 1698/2005 of 20 September 2005 on support for rural development by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). Areas applying for marginal zone area subsidy.
