Abstract
The Act defines measures which are necessary for the implementation of EU regulations for the organization and administration of agricultural markets. These include agricultural production, information on agricultural income and business operations, and the application of special conversion rates for the Common Agricultural Policy. The Ministry of Environment and Food of Denmark sets up a Committee (consisting of 24 appointed members) to advise and evaluate EU agricultural policies and to provide the necessary data to meet EU rules on Member States' agriculture reporting. Based on these policies, the Minister may regulate payment of taxes on agricultural products and similar agricultural commodities imported in Denmark.
This Act consists of 6 Chapters: Administration of market organization (1); Administration of production fees (2); (Repealed) (3); Common provisions (4); Penalties (5); Entry into force (6).
