Abstract
Through this Order, the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries may commit to funding the distribution of fruit and vegetables within the framework of a School Fruit Scheme in connection with the EU market. Criteria for granting such subsidies include distribution to schools shall cover all educational days of min. 60 continuous days between 1 August and 30 July, to schools with pupils going from 0-10 class, and for a distribution of max. 50% of the total expenses (or max. 1.25 DKK for each pupil).
It includes certain provisions of the Council Regulation (EC)No. 1234/2007 of 22 October 2007 establishing a common organization of agricultural markets and on specific provisions for certain agricultural products (Single CMO Regulation), Council Regulation (EC) No. 13/2009 amending the Single CMO for the introduction of a School Fruit Scheme and Commission Regulation (EC) nr.288/2009 implementing Council Regulation (EC) No. 1234/2007 as regards to Community aid for supplying fruit and vegetables, processed fruit and vegetable and banana products to children in educational institutions within the framework of a school fruit scheme.
This Order consists of 11 Chapters: Contents (1); Definitions (2); Authorities and control (3): Application for grant (4); Conditions for grant (5); Payment of grants (6); Alterations and notification obligations (7); Lapse and repayment of grants (8); Penal provisions (9); Entry into force (10).
