Order No. 903 on agricultural use of fertilizers in 2014/2015 and plant protection.

The Act aims to regulate agricultural use of fertilizers and establishes requirements for the installation of plant cover and other crop-related protective measures to reduce nitrogen leakage. Commercial plant breeding, animal husbandry, forestry activities or combinations thereof shall report online to the Danish AgriFish Agency if activities result in an annual taxable turnover exceeding DKK 20 000. The Order applies to commercial activities having an annual taxable turnover exceeding DKK 50 000 and if the company owns a total of livestock in excess of 10 animal units; a livestock density exceeding 1 livestock unit/ha; or if it receives more than 25 tons of manure or other organic fertilizers during the plan period 2014-2015. Nitrogen standards for agricultural crops and outdoor vegetables and other plant cultures are shown in Annex 1, Table 1 and Table 3. The company's herd size during the plan period 2014/2015 is calculated for every type of livestock produced and calculation thereof must be carried out in accordance with Appendix 2, Table 1.
