Order No. 92 on subsidy for the care of pasture and natural areas.

The Danish AgriFish Agency may grant subsidies to owners and tenants of farms. Approval for these grants is given to agricultural businesses for the conversion of land into grassland, and with the purpose of committing these to grazing activities. The goal of this Order is to ensure that extensive agricultural operations with annual grazing or cutting on pasture and natural and primary areas in Natura2000 assigned areas are committed to the protection and maintenance of the landscape and its biodiversity. The Agency shall designate areas for bird conservation management in a commitment period beginning 11 September 2010. For calendar years after 2010, the Agency shall determine the designation of areas for supplementary special bird conservation operations in adherence to this Order. Preparation and storage of fertilizers planning regulations are also included in this Order. Criteria for granting subsidies applies to areas located within Natura2000 sites and/or SFL areas; and to areas shown by the Danish Natural Environment as article 3 in adherence to the Minister of Environment s Circular No. 128 of 13 July 1993 concerning the registration of protected natural habitats and the submission of information to the Danish Forest and Nature Agency.
