Abstract
This regulation of the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration sets the rules for importing animal feed into Greenland, applying to registered feed businesses (but not private individuals) and requiring that only feed from EU-registered or approved feed establishments may be brought in—especially products intended for export from Greenland or for feeding food-producing animals. Certain high-risk feed types (animal-origin or subject to import restrictions/increased EU controls) must first undergo official inspection at an EU border checkpoint. Companies must register their import activity with the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration, and violations can result in fines, including for legal entities.
