Abstract
These Regulations provide rules relative to the control of importation of animals, except monkeys.
Animals shall only be imported in accordance with these Regulations and with the terms of a permit granted by the Chief Technical Officer. The Regulations provide further for landing of animals at specified places, quarantine and inspection and contain rules for specified groups of animals, e.g.: cattle, pigs, sheep, goats; fish, turtles and birds; cats and dogs; and horses. The Regulations also provide rules for the importation of carcases, litter, fodder, vaccines and other animal-related products.
