Solid Waste Management (Validation) Act 2006 (No. 1 of 2006).

This Act provides for the validation of the Solid Waste Management Act and amends that Act in sections 47, 49 and by inserting a new section 51a and Schedule 7. Section 51a imposes an environmental surcharge on such goods imported into Dominica on at such rates as set out in the corresponding columns of Schedule 7. The Minister may by Order subject to Negative Resolution of Parliament amend Schedule 7. Also section 47 concerns the payment of fees. Section 49 is amended as a consequence of introduction of section 51a and Schedule 7.
