Abstract
This Regulation, based on the provisions of Section 35 (2) of the Fishing Act, establishes the subdivisions of fishing vessels in the commercial fishing register, the requested characteristics, the requirements for fishing vessels included in the fishing fleet segment and the possibility of adding a fishing fleet segment. Concerning the requested characteristics, the Regulation specifies: use of the same type of fishing gear, catching the same type of fish as the target species, fishing in the same fishing area, seagoing safety and seaworthiness certificate.
