Abstract
The regulation sets the optimal total area for regeneration felling in state forest for the period 2026-2030 and for the year 2026. It specifies the maximum areas to be subject to regeneration felling, expressed in hectares, and allocates these areas by tree species categories and by state forest managers. The regulation establishes both multi‑year totals and a separate annual distribution for 2026.
It defines the scope of felling included in the calculation of the optimal area, excluding only those regeneration fellings that are expressly exempted. State forest managers are permitted to exceed the annual optimal area by up to five percent. The regulation establishes updated optimal area limits applicable for the new reference period.
