Ministerial Decree No. 54 of 2008 amending the Ministerial Decree No. 14717 of 1987 issuing the executive Regulations of the Law of Irrigation and Drainage.

This Decree amends articles 53 and 55 of Part 6 of the Ministerial Decree No. 14717 of 1987 issuing the executive Regulations of the Law of Irrigation and Drainage. Article 53 prohibits waste of irrigation water dispensed in a private or public bank, in an uncultivated agriculture land or in rice cultivation without a license. Article 55 states that whoever violates the requirements of irrigation of new lands , is obliged to pay a specific amount of money.
