Abstract
This Regulation consisting of 13 articles provides for compulsory immunization of animals, including poultry, against all epidemic, infectious and common diseases, in accordance with the policies and plans of the General Authority for Veterinary Services. It also stipulates that animals shall be registered and an identification card issued for each numbered and registered animal. Animal owners and poultry owners must register their possession of animals and receive their identification card within two months from the issuing of this Resolution.
It is prohibited to transfer animals and poultry from one Governorate to another unless the necessary measures, determined by the General Authority for Veterinary Services, have been taken. The General Authority for Veterinary Services shall determine the amount to be paid by the owner of the animals in respect of the performance of veterinary services.
The Minister of Agriculture can exempt the small breeders from payment of the due amounts in case of an emergency determined by the General Authority for Veterinary Services in order to control epidemics and infectious diseases.
