Regulations to prohibit the Production, Sale or Distribution of Plastic Bags in Eritrea (L.N. No. 63 of 2002).

It shall be prohibited to produce, import or sell or otherwise distribute any plastic bags of high density or low density polyethylene product not exceeding two millimeter in thickness. A penalty is prescribed. Any Government Agency shall have the duty to cooperate with the Ministry of Land, Water and Environment in the implementation of these Regulations.
