Commission Decision 2005/759/EC concerning certain protection measures in relation to highly pathogenic avian influenza in certain third countries and the movement from third countries of birds accompanying their owners.

The present Decision aims at preventing the introduction into the European Community and the spread within its territory of avian influenza. It establishes particular protective measures which shall apply to movement of birds from third countries and provides for veterinary checks.
