Abstract
This Regulation lays down some amendments to Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/86, which establishes a discard plan for certain demersal fisheries in the Mediterranean Sea. The amendments regard: the definition of Western Mediterranean Sea; the exemption from the landing obligation pursuant to article 15(4)(b) of Regulation (EU) No. 1380/2013 for species for which scientific evidence demonstrates high survival rates; and the de minimis exemption as per article 4 of the amended Regulation.
